## What should a support email contain?

Enough to find the instance or the payment without a back-and-forth:

- **For an instance problem:** the instance ID, the GPU model, the time in UTC, what you ran and the exact error. For a GPU fault, paste the output of `nvidia-smi`.
- **For a payment:** the coin, the network, the amount sent and the transaction ID.
- **For a refund:** which case of the [refund policy](https://gpuwithcrypto.com/refunds/ "Refund policy") applies, with the instance ID or the transaction ID.

An instance ID or a transaction ID is enough for support to find your records. Do not include your account number, an API key or a private key.

## What can support help with?

Support helps you start, size and stop GPU instances:

- Choosing a GPU for a model and its VRAM needs, with the [VRAM guide](https://gpuwithcrypto.com/how-much-vram-do-i-need/ "How much VRAM do I need to run or fine-tune an LLM?") as a starting point.
- Connecting over SSH and starting from your own Docker image.
- Instances that fail to start, and GPUs that do not work.
- Top-ups that arrive late or with the wrong amount.
- Refund requests under the refund policy.
- Questions about what the [acceptable use policy](https://gpuwithcrypto.com/acceptable-use/ "Acceptable use policy") allows, before you start a job.

Support cannot read or recover your files, because we do not read your disk. Every instance has local NVMe disk, sized for its GPU and shown before you start. The disk is wiped when you delete the instance, so copy your checkpoints out first. Support cannot recover a lost account number without an email on file either.

## How do I report abuse coming from a GPUwithCrypto GPU?

Write to abuse@gpuwithcrypto.com. A useful report gives:

- the IP address the abuse came from;
- the date and time, with the time zone;
- what happened: attack traffic, scanning, spam, malware, or content you believe is illegal;
- the evidence you can share, such as log lines or message headers;
- how to reach you if we need more detail.

Never attach child sexual abuse material to an email: describe it and say where it is. Reports go to abuse@gpuwithcrypto.com. An instance that breaks the acceptable use policy is stopped and the hours it used are not refunded; child sexual abuse material is reported to the authorities. What counts as misuse is listed in the [acceptable use policy](https://gpuwithcrypto.com/acceptable-use/ "Acceptable use policy").

## How do I raise a payment problem?

Write to support@gpuwithcrypto.com with the transaction ID, the coin, the network and the amount. A top-up is credited after the network confirmations, so a busy network delays it without losing it. Incoming payments are checked against public sanctions lists of blockchain addresses wherever the network shows the sending address; a payment from a listed address is not credited.

If you sent a coin or used a network that the payment page did not show, write before sending anything else: such funds are not always recoverable.

## How can I tell a real message from GPUwithCrypto?

By what it asks for. Nobody from our team will ever ask for your account number, your SSH private key or your API keys, by email or in a chat. Our only addresses are the two on this page. If a message asks for any of these, it is not from us: do not answer it, and forward it to abuse@gpuwithcrypto.com.

## Questions about support

### How fast does support reply?

A person answers support emails within 12 hours, seven days a week, and helps you start, size and stop your GPU instances. Email keeps a written record of each request, which matters when a payment or a refund is involved. Put the instance ID or the transaction ID in the first message to get a complete answer in one reply.

### Can support recover my account number?

Only if you added an email address. Your account number is how you sign in, so store it carefully. With an optional email on file you can recover it; with no email, a lost number is gone for good. Store the number in a password manager when you open the account.

### Can support get back the files of a deleted instance?

No. Every instance has local NVMe disk, sized for its GPU and shown before you start. The disk is wiped when you delete the instance, so copy your checkpoints out first. Nobody can restore a wiped disk, so copy checkpoints and outputs to your own storage before you delete an instance.

### Do I have to give my name to get help?

No. Support needs the instance ID or the transaction ID, not your name, a document or a card. Sign in with an account number; an email address is optional. Sign a support email however you like: what matters is the ID that lets support find the instance or the payment.
