Quick answer
What are the best (cheaper) RunPod alternatives?
The best cheaper RunPod alternatives on 29 October 2026 depend on the GPU: Massed Compute for the H100 ($2.73 vs RunPod's $2.89), Thunder Compute for the A100 80GB ($1.09 vs $1.79), Salad for the RTX 4090 ($0.33 vs $0.89), and Vast.ai's marketplace for the lowest offers. Per GPU-hour, USD, taxes excluded; multi-GPU prices divided by GPU count. Vast.ai figures: Vast.ai's public price feed. Akash: the lowest recent provider bid from its pricing API. Spheron's own H100 page said 'from $2.65/hr' the same day; its pricing-page value is shown. Hyperbolic's former stablecoin page now redirects, so its crypto support is not confirmed. Salad rents consumer GPUs only (see the ComfyUI section).
Which RunPod alternatives are cheaper?
It depends on the GPU, because RunPod is already near the bottom for some cards. According to GPUwithCrypto's price check of 29 October 2026, RunPod's Secure Cloud on-demand price ranked:
- H100 80GB: 2nd lowest of 16 providers. Only Massed Compute ($2.73) was lower.
- L40S: 2nd of 11. Only Massed Compute ($0.97 vs $1.09) was lower.
- B200: 4th of 9. Massed Compute ($5.43), Hyperbolic ($5.99) and Lambda ($6.69) were lower.
- A100 80GB: 5th of 13. Thunder Compute ($1.09), Massed Compute ($1.35), Jarvislabs ($1.49) and Spheron ($1.69) were lower.
- H200: 7th of 13. Six providers were lower, from $3.62 at Massed Compute.
- RTX 4090 and RTX 5090: last of 2 and of 3. Salad was lower on both, and Spheron on the 5090.
The biggest savings are on the H200, the A100 and consumer cards. RunPod's own Community Cloud is also cheaper than its Secure Cloud. Marketplace offers go lower still: see RunPod vs Vast.ai.

Of the 33 GPU providers we checked on 29 October 2026, 14 accept crypto and 4 ask for ID in some cases. RunPod is the only one whose docs tie KYC to paying in crypto, and its auto-pay is card-only.
- GPUwithCrypto: BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC, from $25, with no ID, no selfie and no card.

Which RunPod alternatives host GPUs in Europe?
Few pricing pages state regions. On the pages we read on 29 October 2026:
- OVHcloud names its Gravelines datacentre in France as the one with the widest GPU choice. Its H100 costs $2.99 per hour; it takes no crypto and can ask for a photo ID, a card photo and a selfie.
- Spheron lists partner data centers in North America, Europe and Asia.
- CoreWeave lists Europe as well as North America.
- RunPod itself says it runs in 30+ regions.
On GPUwithCrypto, Instances have 1 to 8 GPUs depending on the host. Before you start, the dashboard shows each host’s country, GPU count, form factor (SXM or PCIe) and interconnect.
Which RunPod alternative is best for ComfyUI?
For ComfyUI with SDXL or FLUX, a 24–32 GB consumer card is enough. FLUX.1 [dev] weights take 24 GB in BF16 and 12 GB in FP8, plus text encoders and a VAE that can be offloaded to CPU. SDXL base takes 7 GB. Among other providers, Salad had the lowest on-demand price on 29 October 2026, before its 1 November rise; Vast.ai's marketplace had the lowest single offers. Hosted ComfyUI services such as Comfy Cloud, RunComfy and ThinkDiffusion sell a ready interface rather than a GPU; we did not check their prices. More: best GPU for ComfyUI and Flux.
