Quick answer
How can I rent a GPU without a credit card?
To rent a GPU without a credit card, pay in crypto, or use a cloud that takes PayPal or bank transfer. GPUwithCrypto needs no card at any step: top up $25 or more in crypto and rent an H100 for $2.32/hour. As of 29 October 2026, 14 of the 33 GPU clouds we checked accept crypto and 5 take PayPal.

Read on each provider's own billing or payment pages on 29 October 2026. Hetzner's GPU line had no GPU from our list (RTX PRO 4000 and 6000 Blackwell only).
Which GPU clouds require a credit card?
Three mention a card as the only way to pay: Lambda ("only accepts major credit cards"), Crusoe (a non-prepaid credit card before any resource starts) and Hot Aisle (card through Stripe). Others need a card for part of the service:
- Vast.ai: its billing FAQ adds credit once a card and an email are verified, even though it also takes crypto. Details: does Vast.ai accept crypto?
- Akash Network: the managed Console needs a card for H100-class GPUs; Console Air needs only a wallet.
- Massed Compute and RunPod: crypto works for manual top-ups, but automatic payments run on a card only. RunPod also asks for KYC first: does RunPod accept crypto?
- Microsoft Azure: its sign-up calls the card check "identity verification".
Why was my card declined by a GPU cloud?
Usually because of one of the rules below, all taken from the providers' own pages on 29 October 2026.
- Card type. Lambda declines debit and prepaid cards. DigitalOcean refuses virtual, electron and prepaid cards. Google Cloud and Azure refuse prepaid cards, and Crusoe wants a non-prepaid credit card. RunPod takes prepaid cards only from $100 per transaction.
- Region. Lambda sells only in supported regions: the US, UK, Canada, Japan, Singapore and most of the EU, with Lithuania excluded.
- VPN. Lambda flags purchases made over a VPN as suspicious. Hetzner advises against a VPN when you register.
- Phone. Azure rejects VoIP numbers, and AWS needs a number that can receive a call or SMS.
- Fraud review. Hetzner can ask for a government ID or a card prepayment before an order. OVHcloud can hold an order until you send documents within 48 hours.
- Verification hold. Lambda places a $10 pre-authorization, refunded within days. Azure places a small temporary hold.
If the card still fails, crypto avoids the card network altogether. The GPU clouds that accept crypto are compared coin by coin.
Can I rent a GPU with PayPal?
Yes, at a few clouds. OVHcloud takes PayPal and listed an H100 at $2.99 per hour. DigitalOcean (Paperspace) takes PayPal after a $5 authorization charge. Google Cloud takes PayPal in Spain, Italy and Mexico only. Hetzner takes PayPal, but its GPU servers had no GPU from our list. Render Network sells credits through PayPal.
Neither RunPod's nor Vast.ai's billing pages we read list PayPal.
Can I pay for a cloud GPU by bank transfer?
Yes, but mostly for larger or business accounts. Verda takes invoice top-ups from 10,000 EUR or USD. Jarvislabs takes bank transfers above $500 through support. Nebius takes bank transfers from companies through sales, and RunPod invoices business customers above $5,000. Hetzner offers SEPA direct debit and bank transfer, AWS offers ACH direct debit, and Azure offers wire transfer to approved businesses.
For a single GPU for a few hours, crypto is the shortest path without a card. Our per-hour prices for each GPU are on GPU pricing.
How do I rent a GPU with crypto instead of a card?
On GPUwithCrypto the whole flow runs without a card, a bank account or an ID. Once your payment is confirmed, you launch an instance from the dashboard; our team prepares it at the GPU provider and its SSH details appear there as soon as it runs. Billing starts only then.
Top up $25 or more
Choose the amount and the coin (BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC). The crypto amount and its rate are locked for 30 minutes.
Send it to the address shown, on the exact network
The payment page shows our deposit address for the coin and network you picked: BTC on Bitcoin, USDT on Tron (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20), USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20), ETH on Ethereum, SOL on Solana, LTC on Litecoin. Send only that coin on that network: funds sent on another network or in another coin can’t be recovered. The network fee comes on top of the amount.
Send the exact amount shown, then click “I’ve sent the payment”
Each top-up has its own exact amount (down to the last decimals): that is how we find your payment and link it to your account.
Credited once your payment is checked on the blockchain
Your balance is credited once we have checked the transaction on the blockchain, after the network has confirmed it. Typical network confirmation times:
Crypto Network Confirmations Usual time BTC Bitcoin 2 ≈ 20 min USDT Tron (TRC-20) 20 ≈ 1 min USDT Ethereum (ERC-20) 12 ≈ 5 min USDC Ethereum (ERC-20) 12 ≈ 5 min ETH Ethereum 12 ≈ 5 min SOL Solana 1 ≈ 1 min LTC Litecoin 6 ≈ 15 min Start your GPU
Pick a block of GPU-hours first and the top-up is set to its price, or to the minimum for a cheaper block. Once the payment is confirmed, launch an instance from the dashboard: its SSH details appear as soon as it runs. Credit on your balance does not expire and buys blocks of GPU-hours for any GPU. When a top-up is only made to reach the minimum, the unspent part comes back on request within 30 days of payment, in USDT or USDC. The rest of a balance is not paid out unless the law requires it.
Closed the tab? The pending top-up stays under Billing in your account: open it to see the address and the exact amount again.

Can I rent a GPU with a prepaid card?
Rarely. Lambda, DigitalOcean, Google Cloud, Azure and Crusoe refuse prepaid cards. RunPod accepts them from $100 per transaction.
Can I rent a GPU with a debit card?
At some clouds. Lambda declines debit cards, while Google Cloud takes Visa and Mastercard debit, Azure takes debit cards and Salad takes credit or debit cards.
Can I rent a GPU without a credit card in the UK or Canada?
Yes. GPUwithCrypto takes BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC with no card from the UK, Canada and most other countries. Not available to people or companies in Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia, Belarus, China, Yemen or Western Sahara, or in the occupied regions of Ukraine.
Do I need a bank account to rent a GPU with crypto?
Not on GPUwithCrypto. You need a wallet holding BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC, and at least $25 for the first top-up.
